Course description
The Epistle of Romans was written to give us a comprehensive understanding of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. The objective of this class is to:
1. Understand the fundamental problem of mankind in his relationship with God, both in his natural born sinful condition and in his resulting sinful conduct.
2. Understand what God has done through the work of Christ on the cross to free us from the penalty of sin by bringing us into a right relationship with God through faith, and to free us from the power of sin through our union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
3. Understand how we are to respond to this grace of God in order to live in newness of life as we exercise the gifts of the Spirit and exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, which is love.
4. Understand how to clearly articulate these truths to the average unlearned person so that they can clearly comprehend the good news of salvation.
