Tuition
Taking a course or two, or completing the Basic discipleship program, or the 2 year Bible College Diploma at HC Bible College will be a faith-stretching venture for most. Our costs are very economical and high value at $35 per credit hour. There is also a one time enrollment fee of $35, which starts your record and procures a t-shirt with the college logo. (Tuition Chart below)
We also offer Classes for those who are not interested in gaining credit for the courses, they will be offered at 50% of tuition cost for that class. Administration fee of $35 will still be due. (Tuition Chart below)
You are not required to be in a certificate or diploma program to take a class or two or several for credit, to see if God might be leading you more fully to HCBC. Here are some suggestions for getting started, with some step’s of faith, should you sense God’s leading and find that the costs are an issue for you.
Remember that HC Bible College is a faith venture and part of your education is growing to trust God for what you may have considered impossible or unthinkable. If you cannot do steps one and two, you should re-examine what your motives are for attending and if you are really wanting to follow Christ on this adventure or are motivated more superficially. If you do #1-3, DO send these friends a mid-course prayer and praise progress report via social media, text message, or email. It will be a blessing for them to know how you are doing.
The staff, teachers, board, and other personnel associated with the HC Bible College are in prayer for you to grow in this commitment and the faith venture of attending Bible College. God’s word does not return to Him void and we are in high hopes that He who has begun a good work in you will bring it to completion and full maturity in the day of Christ. We look forward to getting to know you more in HC Bible College!

- Talk to God in prayer regularly about your need for the money to attend, and ask Him to reveal to you if this desire is of Him, ask Him to begin the process and show you the way. Be faithful, available, and teachable in responding to God in prayer.
- Often God uses authority figures in our lives to give us counsel, direction, and prayer support. So tell a few godly Christian friends and mentors about your desire to attend Bible college, and your enrollment and first class(es) tuition. Ask your parents or ‘significant other’ authority figure(s) to pray for you about this, with the costs and dates needed. And request specific prayer of your small group bible study and its leaders. Maybe there is someone in your life who would help you.
- Mention it as a prayer request with the costs and the deadline dates to select friends and extended family on social media like Facebook. It will be a witness to some to pray for you and a challenge to others who would likely benefit from joining you in this, or plant a seed for them to also consider trusting Christ in new ways.
- Most classes run for about three months so consider paying at a rate of about eight dollars a week by giving up a lunch out or substituting water for a fountain soda, or sacrifice one carry-out pizza a week. The sacrifice has potential to add focus to your commitment and blessing to your faith venture and your subsequent testimony about God’s provision, both for yourself and others.
- If you do the above and you come up short you might consider asking the HCBC Executive director, Steve Covington [email protected] about two additional options; a.) work opportunities to defray cost, and b.) the possibility of limited scholarship opportunities.
